Built in the 1860s, the Ridenour Building is located in the heart of historic downtown Bedford.
Over the years, the building housed many businesses to include the PA Railroad Telegraph Operators School, a meat market, a bank, a jewelry store, an insurance company, a dance studio, numerous retail stores and a number of other businesses.
Today, along with a few other businesses, the second floor is the location of our spa. The 3rdfloor which was headquarters to Szanca Solutions, Inc. for the past 23 years has been converted to bedroom suites (7 in total) for guests to enjoy.
Everything is within walking distance. With each suite having a reserved parking spot, a visitor can park their car upon arrival and leave it until they are ready to continue with their travel.
Three bedroom, raised cottage, sleeps 9, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and a bath and a half. Visitors must bring your own bedding and towels. Linen Package available. No Smoking and No Pets. Weekly $700 (Friday to Friday), $150 a night Friday and Saturday, $100 a night Sunday-Thursday – two night minimum. Fire ring and river access.
The Guest House is newly remodeled and offers a beautiful, secluded, country setting on a 1460 acre working bison ranch. Feel free to enjoy walking trails, fishing in our bass pond or just watching the bison roam as well as the many attractions the area has to offer. Minutes from Shawnee State Park and Blue Knob Ski area. Weekend and weekly rates available.
