Bedford County, you showed up.
The Discover Bedford Hiking Club made its debut this weekend and did not take it easy. Over 4 miles on the Mid State Trail, 1,070 feet of elevation gain, and 80+ degree March heat. Our hikers earned every step.
Thank you to the amazing team that made it happen: Wade Clark Pennsylvania Game Commission, Tony Barr Mid State Trail Association, Inc., Jason Graham Bedford County Development Association, Codi Clapper PA Forestry Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and Hikes with Haley. And to The Union Hotel for fueling the recovery with an incredible post hike dinner.
