This year, Healthy Lands Week is coming to Bedford County. 🌲
For the first time, Pennsylvania Healthy Lands Week is putting the spotlight on a specific county, and we're proud that Bedford County was selected for 2026.
From September 26 through October 4, the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation and its partners will bring together volunteer opportunities, outdoor activities and educational experiences that showcase what stewardship looks like right here in our backyard.
It's a pretty fitting way to discover Bedford County. Get outside. Explore our forests, parks and trails. Learn a little more about the places that make this region special. And, if you're able, roll up your sleeves and help care for them, too.

Bedford Speedway is going BIG for the 9th Annual Bedford Keystone Cup, happening Friday and Saturday, September 25-26. And because it's the final race weekend of the season, this will be your last chance to catch the action at the track until next year.
Two days. High-speed racing. A weekend worth the drive.
