On Wednesday, August 26, the Discover Bedford County Hiking Club is taking on a 4-mile, extremely difficult hike along the Mid State Trail’s Blue Triangle route in Section 3.
Expect a punishing 650 feet of combined ascent and descent, an extremely steep climb, and a rugged ridgetop with challenging rock traverses. This one is only for experienced and sure-footed hikers who are prepared for a serious trail challenge.
Meet behind the Discover Bedford County Welcome Center between 5:15-5:30 p.m. and carpool to the trailhead. Registration is required, and there are currently spots available: bit.ly/49wqmCA
