Our next Bedford County Hiking Club adventure is coming up at 5:30 p.m.on Wednesday, June 24, and we'd love to see a few more friendly faces join us.
After carpooling from Discover Bedford to the trailhead, this family-friendly, 4.5-mile hike follows Mid State Trail Section 3 from the historic Civil War Trenches to Point 36. Expect peaceful woodland scenery, a mostly gentle route along gated Game Commission roads, and a chance to explore a piece of Bedford County's history while spending time outdoors with a great group of people.
