A Bedford County landmark known for preserving America’s roadside history has added another piece of the past to its property.
Owners of Lincoln Motor Court, located along the historic Lincoln Highway, recently completed the relocation of an original 1928 Lincoln Highway concrete directional marker to the site.
The marker is believed to be one of the relatively few remaining from a nationwide effort by the Boy Scouts of America to help guide motorists on the country's first transcontinental highway.
